# Cards

Cards help organize similar groups of content and should always be used in combinations or groupings of like things. For example, you could combine cards that show news articles, or link to a group of resources. Choosing a card type depends on the desired number of cards and the type of visuals available.  For more information on event cards, see Events. For a horizontal card style, see Lists.
Cards are one of the most flexible components. They contain information on a single topic and often link to deeper content.
